1. Start by securely placing your bike on a flat surface.
2. Take a look at your pedals to determine the type of spanner (wrench) you'll need.
3. Position the spanner (wrench) on the right pedal and turn it counterclockwise to loosen.
4. Once the right pedal is loose, remove it and set it aside.
