At a lower price, it is smaller and easier to transport but does not include a cassette or cadence. Harsh winters or poor conditions no longer mean that you must be separated from your favorite bike. Using your personal bike on the KICKR CORE is as simple as removing the rear wheel and bolting the frame into the trainer.
The Wahoo KICKR CORE features many of the same perks as its more expensive cousin. This trainer is virtually silent compared to other trainers that can cause quite the ruckus. The flywheel is lighter than that of the standard KICKR, but it still gives you the feel of riding your bike on the road with easy gear shifting and resistance adjusting.
The Wahoo KICKR CORE Power Trainer is built to suit your personal riding needs. It can be used alongside the easily adjustable Wahoo KICKR Desk to access anything you may need. It is also compatible with the Wahoo KICKR Climb which can be attached in place of your front wheel to give you a physical gradient change for climbing simulation. The KICKR CORE even fits in with the Wahoo Kickr Headwind Smart Fan which keeps you cool, increasing its power in accordance with your speed and heart rate. All of these components working together will give you a brilliant riding experience from the comfort of your home.
The Wahoo Fitness app brings you an entire world of data and fun rides and races. The app adjusts your resistance and records all your workout information including distance, watts, calories burned, and more. You can then share those results by email or to a network such as Strava. An open system allows users to create apps, so you can explore various virtual races and conquer famous climbs on your screen with your Wahoo KICKR CORE.
